Overall Rating: 1 out of 10 stars. It seems like every time I review Michael Cheney’s products, they seem to have a whole chunk of repeat information that to me feels like (and this is not a pun) copied and pasted (I’ll show you why) and considering how so much of that same information I already found in at least 2 of his other products, a 1 star rating is actually high!
Affiliate marketing - Affiliate marketing is perceived to not be considered a safe, reliable and easy means of marketing through online platform. This is due to a lack of reliability in terms of affiliates that can produce the demanded number of new customers. As a result of this risk and bad affiliates it leaves the brand prone to exploitation in terms of claiming commission that isn't honestly acquired. Legal means may offer some protection against this, yet there are limitations in recovering any losses or investment. Despite this, affiliate marketing allows the brand to market towards smaller publishers, and websites with smaller traffic. Brands that choose to use this marketing often should beware of such risks involved and look to associate with affiliates in which rules are laid down between the parties involved to assure and minimize the risk involved.
Affiliate marketing is a great place to start when you are looking to make money online. Other than the cost of a webpage and your time, it is very low cost to get started. There are many business opportunities that promote affiliate marketing. Some of these business opportunities are scams. My subscribers have requested that I take a look into The Super Affiliate Network. They are concerned that it has a lot of similarities with the recently shutdown Digital Altitude and MOBE scams. Here is what I have found.
When formulating a commission structure, the first step is to consider all stakeholders involved in the transaction. Even though affiliate marketing is entirely performance-based — and nary a nickel gets paid unless a transaction occurs — there are several different parties taking a cut of that sale. The affiliate gets a percentage. The affiliate network gets a percentage. And, your affiliate manager might take a percentage. What initially seemed as a no-risk marketing channel could be one of your most expensive.
This is one area that is often overlooked as an “out of my hands” part of the affiliate marketing funnel. Once you’ve sent a visitor to the merchant site, all you can do is cross your fingers and hope they ultimately complete whatever action is necessary for you to get your commission. That’s partially true I suppose. But you have more input here than you may realize.
Trying to cut corners with marketing methods is a huge no-no in affiliate marketing. By cutting corners, we’re talking specifically about black hat SEO. Get banned by Google, and you’ll be spending your time building a new site. Don’t learn from your mistakes, learn right now. Blackhat SEO only ever leads to a broken site. Google will hunt you down, and it will punish you!
While any “regular” job requires you to be at work to make money, affiliate marketing offers you the ability to make money while you sleep. By investing an initial amount of time into a campaign, you will see continuous returns on that time as consumers purchase the product over the following days and weeks. You receive money for your work long after you’ve finished it. Even when you’re not in front of your computer, your marketing skills will be earning you a steady flow of income.
Technically speaking, a super affiliate is someone who creates a significant amount of profits from the sales they make for the products or services they represent. A super affiliate makes a healthy living from their online affiliate business alone – while a standard every day affiliate usually needs to supplement their affiliate income with, gasp – a full time job!
Digital marketing became more sophisticated in the 2000s and the 2010s, when the proliferation of devices' capable of accessing digital media led to sudden growth. Statistics produced in 2012 and 2013 showed that digital marketing was still growing. With the development of social media in the 2000s, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter, consumers became highly dependent on digital electronics in daily lives. Therefore, they expected a seamless user experience across different channels for searching product's information. The change of customer behavior improved the diversification of marketing technology.
SAN is usually promoted as a done for you system where most of the things are automated and all you have to do is put them together and create a profitable sales funnel. And that you can, of course, develop a six-figure affiliate marketing business. I want to be clear about that. The only way to do that with SAN is if you are already earning 6 figures. It is not just the training that will cost you a small fortune. Their training will primarily teach how to generate traffic using paid methods. And that means you will have to spend more money. So, you must have an extra budget for that too.
Choose affiliate programs that complement your Web site content. If your site is all about sports, then chances are you'll want to skip on setting up a co-branded Web store for cartoon themed car accessories, for example. Also, if affiliate programs offer customizable banners, buttons or splash pages that can be edited to reflect elements of your own site design, be sure to take advantage of those options.
One big difference between SkimLinks and VigLinks, however, is that once you’re approved by the company, you can choose to work with any merchant or program on its platform. SkimLinks has also published a white paper discussing its partnership with Buzzfeed, giving SkimLinks a lot of credibility. SkimLinks also has a higher tier of vetted merchants called “Preferred Partner” and “VIP” that both pay higher commissions than standard merchants.
Previously known as Affiliate Window but now officially referred to as “AWIN” after acquiring Zanox a few years ago, this network claims to work with over 13,000 active advertisers and 100,000 publishers (affiliates). Founded in Germany, AWIN’s merchants primarily hail from Europe (especially Great Britain) although the U.S. network is growing rapidly. AWIN is currently active in 11 countries.
Affilorama was founded in 2006 by prominent affiliate marketer, Mark Ling. Mark drew on his 8 years experience as an affiliate, product owner, and affiliate program manager to create Affilorama’s first step-by-step video lessons. Since launch, Affilorama has grown to a membership of over 150,000 people worldwide, and now offers free introductory video lessons as well as a range of comprehensive training and tool packages.
(f)You will not bid on or purchase keywords, search terms, or other identifiers, including the word “amazon,” Kindle,” or any other trademark of Amazon or its affiliates or variations or misspellings of any of these words (“Proprietary Terms” and you can see a non-exhaustive list of our trademarks in the Non-Exhaustive Trademarks Table) or otherwise participate in keyword auctions on any Search Engine if the resulting paid search advertisement is a Prohibited Paid Search Placement (as defined in the Fee Statement). You may purchase paid search advertisements and submit links to Search Engines to appear in response to a general Internet search query or keyword (i.e., in natural, free, organic, or unpaid search results), so long as you comply with the Agreement and those paid or unpaid search results send users to your site and not directly, or indirectly via a Redirecting Link (as defined in the Fee Statement), to an Amazon Site.
True to its name, Copy Paste Commissions is a brand new, affiliate marketing system by superstars Michael Cheney (of Commission Machine) and Omar Martin (of Affiliate Builder and many others), where you will literally learn how to “copy paste” their affiliate marketing strategies. 🙂 Apparently these strategies have earned them over $4.7M in affiliate commissions to date with 23 years of combined experience, so that’s quite a handful worth paying attention to…
They sell ‘coaching modules’ along with ‘marketing methods’ to RECRUIT more suckers into their programs. These are NOT real products and certainly not products that can be sold in the retail space like a REAL business. This makes SAN another RECRUITING BASED CASH GIFTING MONEY GAME with a PYRAMID SCHEME on top of it – Just like M.O.B.E./mttb and Digital Altitude which was just shut down by the FTC. Other money games are 8 FIGURE DREAM LIFESTYLE/TiDom, Business Success Alliance, Big Profit System, etc. It’s just a matter of time they too will get the HAMMER from the FTC.
The best analysts and affiliate managers will be able to interpret this data and use it to their advantage. For instance, lower-value partners –those who are commonly credited for driving actions when high buyer intent already exists (e.g. at the point of check-out) or who poach traffic from other channels—can expect to see their payouts adjusted accordingly.
The Super Affiliate Network could have been a great program. At least that’s how i feel about it. Instead, it’s a high-ticket membership program that will basically teach you how to promote SAN and not a training course that will teach how to start an affiliate marketing business. There are also many things the training doesn’t cover. They are just mentioned.
Affiliates are most successful when the products they promote match the interests of their followers and subscribers. In addition, many successful affiliate marketers advise recommending and promoting only products that the affiliate is personally familiar with. That’s because familiarity with the product, program, or service helps build trust between the affiliate and end-user.
